What is going on right now?
Literacy:
This week we are begining a new unit in literacy. Our new unit of study is Fairy Tales.
Some of the stories we will be reading are The Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and the Frog Prince.
Next month, we will begin to write our own class fairy tale that we will stage and video tape!
Social Studies:
In January we will finish our unit on the New York State Government.
The next unit we will begin will be Native Americans. We will learn about the two main tribes that inhabited New York State, the Algonquin and the Iroquois.
